Hi,
When using the “debugger” identifier in the js code and trying to minify, I recieve an “identifier is a reserved word” error.
Is there a way to use “debugger” in my js source code ?

Very cool utility that helps a lot.

I’m trying to use mash for js and the minified file works great.
However, I have an encoding problem. My js include messages written in code in hebrew.
The minified code rewrites the messages into gibberish.
Is there any solution for that ?

Hey Evan!
this Chirpy thing looks amazing.
Is it possible also to make it compress the files at runtime ? i mean that in each request the server will compress the specified files (in the chirp.config) and return the minified mashed version in the response…
this will allow me to change any JS or CSS file at the server in any given time!
possible?

Evan, great tool. I’ve been using another tool for this but it just didn’t have all the features I needed and I was about to undertake adding them myself when Elijah Manor tweeted about his vote for Chirpy. You’ve been reading my mind! Ok, actually you’ve just been getting great help and acting on suggestions but regardless, the results are awesome!

Just downloaded this program for the first time and stoked to try it out. Looks great!

Side note: Which ‘intensive purposes’ might we use this guide for? The expression is ‘for all *intents and* purposes’. :p
